FAQs: Allergen Info

·

Pet:
My house contains three dogs and one cat. I do my best to keep them out of my crafting, but there’s no stopping Corgi hair sometimes.

Food:
I like peanut butter. And some wheat products. And a variety of fruits.
It shouldn’t get on products but better safe than sorry. Ask if you have a very specific and dangerous allergy.

Metal:
Most jewelry has metal pieces, from a bezel to hardware. Each item is labeled to the best of my capability. All are plated, not solid.
Please remember that gold is known to sometimes react to skin by fusing itself to earring holes. This seems to be the case even with those who are not allergic. Do not wear gold if you have recently pierced your ears or have wounded ears and try to not wear them full time.
Clip on earrings will be more irritating to wear long term. At least, that’s my experience.

Chewelry:
Chewelry is made with 100% food grade silicone. It is safe to CHEW on but not be swallowed. If chunks are removed from the item, please take it away or toss it. The cord is a satin cord common in these sorts of necklaces: it’s not safe for consumption either.
I boil wash my pieces before hang-drying them and, carefully, sliding them into the bag without touching as much of it as possible. Then they’re sealed and sticker-closed for safety. That said, please boil wash it before use. A bit of soapy water works too. And, apparently, they can go in the dishwasher.
All beads will have a note of sources on them.

Resin:
Resin, in all forms, is an irritant and can be poisonous. Extended wear has been known to result in skim inflammation or rashing. Young children are not recommended to wear resin items for long periods, especially if they have a chewing habit. Resin will be more irritating in warmer temperatures.
No resin is food safe. That counts for any recreational substances as well. Do not store any consumables or smokables on resin.
If your resin item leaks, which it can, please contact me on Instagram.

Non-Allergies/Aversions:
Unless noted, all items are as vegan as factory-made ingredients can be. Very few, if not none at all, fabrics are real fur, skin, or animal based. Cotton has a long storied history of human pain behind it, so mind that.
Most ‘ingredients’ are sourced from overseas factories. The exception to this is cruelty-free Brambleberry fragrance oil, which is used in scented products. Said scented products are not for use on skin. Or any other part of your body. Let dry before wearing item sprayed with scent.
Resin is a plastic. A very, very terrible plastic. Think of that as morally as you’d like.
