Chewelry Blurb

·

(This was written for a card that I consistantly forgot to give out for sales. Most of the information was given verbally, but here’s this anyway.)

Chewelry is a food-grade silicone stim tool. It’s safe for folks to chew on for quite a while! But if the beads come off the necklace or start to shred, please toss your item (or just the damaged beads, if possible). The material is not safe to ingest in both chemical structure and size.
Items will be marked with origin (ie, company) that produced the beads. Feel free to research them! I did my best to find as safe an ingredient as I could, but my tolerances may differ from your’s.
Cord is not safe to chew on. Beads have been left somewhat loose for the process of fidgeting, but no part of the item beyond the beads is chew-safe. That includes the safety-snap clip: it’ll break if pulled on too hard and will absolutely shatter if chewed on. Cord may also leech dye.
Item can pose a safety hazard for certain people. If the intended recipient is not capable of being alone with a choking hazard, make certain to remove it when they’re not attended to. If the intended user is going to be away from the buyer at, say, school, please tell the appropriate teachers they have it.
Wash item before use, especially the first time! To wash, gently wash in hot water. You can add a bit of mouth-safe soap, but that can leave a funny aftertaste. You can also boil chewelry! Just for a few minutes, like dried pasta. Dishwashers are another option, if slightly overkill.
Enjoy your Chewelry! Message me on Instagram if you need anything.
